Overview

Houston Store Fixtures ships to all 48 contiguous United States. We work with trusted carriers to ensure your store fixtures arrive safely and on time. Below you'll find everything you need to know about our shipping rates, timelines, and freight options.

Free Shipping Exclusions

The following product types do not qualify for free shipping regardless of order total. These items always require a freight or shipping quote:

  • Assembled items — pre-assembled fixtures and displays
  • Custom items — made-to-order or customized products
  • Slatwall — panels, accessories, and slatwall systems
  • Gondola shelving — full runs and gondola components
  • Gridwall — panels and gridwall display systems

For orders containing any of these items, we will contact you with a shipping quote before processing your order.

Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation (Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays). You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been picked up by the carrier.

Orders placed after 2:00 PM CST may not begin processing until the following business day. During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer — we will notify you if there is a significant delay.

Transit Time

Standard ground shipping transit time is typically 2–4 business days after the order ships from our warehouse in Houston, TX. Delivery timeframes vary by destination:

  • Texas and neighboring states: typically 1–2 business days
  • Southeast and Midwest: typically 2–3 business days
  • West Coast and Northeast: typically 3–4 business days

Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Houston Store Fixtures is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.

Freight & Oversized Items

Many store fixtures — including full gondola shelving runs, large display cases, slatwall systems, and assembled items — are large, heavy, or require special handling. Items that exceed standard carrier size/weight limits will ship via freight (LTL trucking).

If your order requires freight shipping, we will contact you before shipment to:

  • Confirm freight charges for your order
  • Arrange a delivery appointment (freight carriers require someone to be present)
  • Advise on liftgate requirements if you do not have a loading dock

Freight deliveries are curbside only. The carrier will not bring items inside the building. Please plan accordingly and have staff available to unload.

Damaged Shipments

Please inspect all deliveries carefully at the time of receipt before signing the delivery receipt — especially for freight shipments.

  • If you notice visible damage, note it on the delivery receipt before signing and take photos immediately.
  • Report damaged items to us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@houstonfixtures.com.
  • Keep all original packaging materials — they are required to file a carrier claim.

International Shipping

We do not currently ship internationally. All orders must ship to an address within the 48 contiguous United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other US territories at this time.

If you are an international buyer interested in placing a large wholesale order, please contact us directly to discuss freight forwarding arrangements.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available at our Houston warehouse — a great option for local retailers looking to save on shipping costs or pick up orders quickly.

To arrange local pickup:

  1. Place your order online or by phone and select local pickup at checkout.
  2. We will contact you within 1–2 business days to confirm your pickup is ready.
  3. Bring your order confirmation and a valid photo ID to pick up your order.
